YMCA Camp Tumbleson Lake in Ward, Colorado is seeking an enthusiastic and energetic Kitchen Manager to provide support for the camp by providing meals for all staff living on site. All staff will be provided with three meals a day, breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Our ideal candidate understands the power of teamwork and is eager to work with other members of our staff throughout the summer. We are looking for camp staffers with an "I've got this" mindset ' bringing cool-headedness and confidence to tackle the challenges and changes that pop up daily.
Pay Rate: $20-25/hour, up to 40 hours each week and you may have the option to live at camp. This is a seasonal role and training begins June 3rd.
Dates: June 3rd - August 11th
Physical Demands:
Camp life can be physically and emotionally challenging. You will be asked to function at elevation, in a variety of summer mountain weather ranging from snow to highs in the 90's with potential strong thunderstorms. On an average day you will walk 2-3 miles.
All Employees receive a free individual membership and anyone working 10+ hours receive a free family membership, 50-100% off our programs and if eligible, we contribute the equivalent of 10% of your salary to the YMCA Retirement Fund.
Part-Time employees also receive paid sick time of 1 hour for every 30 hours worked.
