Group Fitness Instructor

The YMCA of Northern Colorado has openings for energetic Group Exercise Instructors at our Lafayette YMCA. As a YMCA instructor you'll provide excellent service to members in a safe, enjoyable, and positive environment that promotes member wellness and engagement in accordance with YMCA policies and procedures.

Salary range is $22-38/hour based on experience and availability. In addition, we offer a +10% differential for bilingual staff who test as fluent in Spanish and English.

Responsibilities: you'll provide excellent service to members in a safe, enjoyable, and positive environment that promotes member wellness and engagement in accordance with YMCA policies and procedures. 

Requirements/Certifications:

• CPR, First Aid, AED, national certification (ACE, NETA, AFAA, NASM) in group fitness instruction
• At least one year of experience teaching group exercise classes preferred

All Employees receive a free individual membership and anyone working 10+ hours receives a free family membership, 50-100% off our programs and if eligible, we contribute the equivalent of 10% of your salary to the YMCA Retirement Fund.

Part-Time Employees also receive paid sick time at 1 hour for every 30 hours worked.
