We call it STEAMrollers. You'll share all areas of science, technology, engineering, the arts and mathematics. This program is full of big projects to engage campers and keep them hungry for knowledge. The program also includes the visual and performing arts, sculpting, painting, music, dance, theater and improvisation. You'll help create and run a welcoming, immersive space for children to harness their inner artist and develop their sense of imagination. The goal is to create an unforgettable experience by encouraging kids to stay curious, inspired and excited about learning.
Salary range is $19-22/ hour based on experience and availability. In addition, we offer a +10% differential for bilingual staff who test as fluent in Spanish and English. Staff working more than 10 hours per week may sign up their children or siblings for free YMCA camp too! More about this in the benefits section.
Shifts are between 9am-12pm and 1pm-4pm M-F. Part time and full time summer seasonal positions are available up to 40 hours a week. No weekends (except one required weekend training May 19th)! This position is seasonal June 3rd through Aug 2nd with training May 20-24th and we anticipate openings for the school year in our before and after school programs.
